For international airfare, simple hotel reservations, and cruise bookings, we will send you a credit card authorization form to collect your payment information and apply it to reservations we make on your behalf. In most other cases, such as payment of deposits or partial/final payments for bespoke trips, we will send you an invoice and take payment directly. We do our best to minimize the number of transactions required per trip. If complications arise with credit card authorizations (2FA issues, declined card, etc.), we will invoice you directly for the balance owed. We may also request a credit card authorization to guarantee dining reservations, purchase event tickets, or reserve miscellaneous trip components.

Your Trip Design Fee will be collected at the beginning of the process, as soon as you sign our Client Agreement (a formal electronic agreement that outlines our terms and conditions). If your party size or trip duration is uncertain at the time you complete the Client Agreement, we may assess your trip design fee later in the process, by adding it as a line item to your trip deposit invoice.

No. We work with destination management companies who have their own contracts with local ground services providers, and these companies do not always provide us with itemized breakdowns on packaged tours. In some cases, we may be able to give you an estimated breakdown of accommodations and tours. However, we do not provide itemized invoices listing each individual tour component.

For refunds and cancellations, we defer to our local partners. Usually, each trip component has its own refund and cancellation terms.

You might have to pay hotel and municipal taxes at your hotel, but not necessarily in cash. We will do our best to warn you of unexpected costs, and advise if/when you’ll need cash.

We reserve the right to change our prices. Quotes are best estimates at time of sending but are subject to increases from suppliers without notice. Hotel and tour availability is constantly changing, which may affect total trip cost, until final payment is received.
